Overview of Ministry Activity
Our primary ministry has been evangelistic summer camps for orphans. The first camp was in 1994 and we have led teams every year since then. Each summer about 1,200-2,000 orphans go through our camps.
More recently, we have been working alongside New Hope International in developing Foster Care in Ukraine and Transitional Housing for older orphans.
Plans and Goals
Julie would like to translate her experience into a transferable guide of some sort to equip western ministries and churches to begin their own orphan ministries. The Bible charges the church with the responsibility to care for the orphans. Most churches have little to no contact with orphans and have no idea how to begin ministry to orphans if they wanted to. This is a project Julie would be very excited about doing.
