Overview of Ministry Activity
Orphan\'s Tree is working with orphans after they leave their orphanages or foster homes, assisting them in their transition to independence. Partnering with Fund Nadezhda in Vladimir, Russia we are a new organization with a successful history of ministry.
George Steiner and Jenya Polonskaya have each had 15 years of experience working with orphans and are committed to the long term care and support of orphans in Russia.
Plans and Goals
Short term we are focused on five areas for outreach to older orphans:
Young Families
Leadership
Job preparation and placement
Non-traditional education
Life Skills
Longer term we are planning on rehabilitation programs for older orphans who may have slipped into drug or alcohol addictions.
