Mission Statement
Here is what we hold to be most important in our work. That PathFinders ministry be:
· Indigenous based: serving with God’s people who hold a common identity with the lost people in a specific region.
· Crisis-oriented: helping where help is needed most; reaching the poor and powerless; serving those who face opposition and persecution in oppressed regions of the world.
· Gospel targeted: reaching lost people for eternity.
· Leadership based: facilitating, networking, and enabling Christians to fulfill their mission in Christ.
· Relational: uniting the Body of Christ, recognizing that together, in our cultural diversity, we will be more effective than separate.
· Authentic: committed to truth telling in our ministry work; wisely stewarding the resources God has given us.
· Significant: creatively doing the right things and not just good things; allowing Him to stretch our faith and fulfill our work by prayer.
Overview of Ministry Activity
PathFinders International started five years ago from a simple idea: build a ministry whose only purpose is to serve other churches and ministries, mobilizing them to come together and fulfill Christ’s Commission. Joel Holm took God’s idea and with it formed PathFinders. Our goal is to inspire compassion in the church, equipping them to present Christ’s love to the poor and powerless. It is our belief that each church, regardless of its location or influence, has a mission to reach the hurting world.
PathFinders International serves churches, children, and communities in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and in the Indian subcontinent. We work with orphanages, street children, and in training workers to meet the needs of children more specifically.
