Mission Statement
To inspire and empower members of Christ Church to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 28: 19-20) by participating in domestic and foreign missions.Overview of Ministry Activity
Like many churches, CEC has a long history of evangelism and humanitarian aid. This is accomplished through democratic process within the World Missions Committee. Its Missions Coordinator\'s E-mail address is missions@cecweb.org. Presently we are engaged in missions to Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Mexico, Belarus, Russia and Scotland.
Focus of these efforts is to bring "Friendship Evangelism" and humanitarian aid to the children and adolescents in these countries by assisting local churches\' outreach and evangelism efforts. This included teaching; crafts; sports; singing; dancing; storytelling; witnessing; and donating Bibles, medical supplies, clothing, craft and recreational items. Particular attention is given to meeting needs of orphans and children from desperate families. Use of Christian interpreters has in and of itself also been a blessing to all team members.
