Overview of Ministry Activity
Madeira Silverwood Presbyterian Church works to support BCM, International with their mission in Russia. (Please see their profile). We provide support for them by sending a mission group from our church to the cities of Cherepovetz and Vologda. This group usually consists of approximately 20 people and we stay for approximately two – three weeks. We have been going about every two – three years, but are currently in the process of developing smaller groups to go once a year in between the larger group.
While in Russia, we support the mission of BCM, International and Sherri Brock, their representative in Russia. During our trips we provide material help, spiritual support, biblical teaching, and personal testimonies to Russian children in institutions such as orphanages, hospitals and various children’s homes.
Plans and Goals
Our goal is to touch the lives of the children, their educators and counselors and parents if possible through material help, biblical centered teaching and personal testimonies whether with adults or children.
