Mission Statement

ORPHANetwork\'s mission is to help orphaned children in third world countries fully realize their God-given potential.

Overview of Ministry Activity

Want to make a big difference? Think small.

There are more than 100 million orphans worldwide.  Children growing up without a loving family to protect provide and care for them. Children at high-risk for abuse, neglect and exploitation. Children living in extreme poverty and without real hope for their future.

You can change the life of an orphaned child through ORPHANetwork.  We work with established, indigenous partners to strengthen orphanages in third world countries. We are committed to holistic ministry meaning that the orphanages we support provide shelter, food, clothing, a Christian education, and a loving community for hundreds of children. We\'re also committed to creating real, lasting change in the communities surrounding the orphanages we serve to break the cycle of orphaning. Our self-sufficiency and community development programs provide orphans with practical skills and provide families with jobs, new hope, dignity and a steady income to support a family.

We offer several ways for people to be the hands and feet of Jesus to orphans in third world countries including financial support, prayer, and customized mission trips to connect with and care for orphans.

Plans and Goals

Our goals are to:

  1. Increase sustained funding for Casa Bernabe orphanage in Vera Cruz, Nicaragua as we build our model of holistic ministry there to replicate in other orphanages in Nicaragua and worldwide
  2. Fully fund Verbo Christian School affiliated with Casa Bernabe orphanage to ensure that orphans age preschool through high school receive a solid, integrated Christian education
  3. Replicate our model organic integrated farming project in other orphanage communities to give orphans practical job skills and to employ local residents
  4. Build a vocational training program/school where orphans can learn critically-needed job skills to successfully transition from the orphanage to the workplace
  5. Create a successful college sponsorship and transition program to identify orphans who have the aptitude to attend college, to fund their college education and ensure they have housing and supervision necessary to successfully graduate
