Overview of Ministry Activity
Mark 9 : 36 - 37 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them "Whoever receives one of these little children receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me, but Him who sent Me."
Needy Feet Ministries is dedicated to following the word of the Lord regarding the "Fatherless" of Russia. We will work wherever the Lord opens a door to a need that can be filled through our efforts. We will work with other ministries where possible to increase our ability to meet the needs of orphans and orphanages in Russia. We will work to increase public awareness of the situation that these children live with everyday.
Needy Feet will work with several orphanages in the cities of Moscow and Saint Petersburg to spend a day with the orphans and be a big brother to them. We will visit an orphanage every weekend to give the children personal time in games and activities.
Needy Feet will also be looking to set-up a program to support an orphanage through sponsorship donations of people concerned for the welfare of these children. We will work to develop a support base for one orphanage at a time until that orphanage is fully supported.
Needy Feet will encourage interested people to visit Orphanages and meet these wonderful children while on mission trips to Russia. Needy Feet will also work to advocate the adoption of these children into homes that will share Love with them, personal Love as well as the Love of Christ. We will team with other ministries to increase our effectiveness in these areas.
Needy Feet will also be working through other ministries and organizations to create a program that will help get children off the streets of Saint Petersburg into homes in Moscow and to provide a mentoring, monitoring and caring environment to allow the child to continue their educations and to succeed in their society.
Psalm 82 : 3 - 4 Defend the poor and the Fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked.
